Twintip is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Ski Instructors to join our team. As a Ski Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels, from first-time skiers to advanced athletes. You will create a fun, safe, and educational environment, helping students develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the sport of skiing.
Teach Ski Lessons: Deliver high-quality ski lessons for individuals and groups, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced skiers. Adapt teaching techniques to suit the age, ability, and learning style of each student.
School Mobile App and Policy: Regularly update on app levels, upload images. Abide by the school internal policy, maintain a good discipline, good communication, timing and methods.
Ensure Student Safety: Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring that all lessons follow proper safety procedures.
Evaluate and Monitor Progress: Assess students' progress throughout the lesson, provide constructive feedback, and help them set achievable goals for improvement.
Provide a Positive Experience: Create an enjoyable and supportive environment for students. Ensure each student feels comfortable, motivated, and confident throughout the lesson.
Demonstrate Skills: Provide clear demonstrations of skiing techniques and movements, ensuring students understand and can replicate them.
Adapt to Weather and Terrain: Adjust lessons based on changing weather conditions, snow quality, and student needs. Keep students aware of how these factors can affect their skiing.
Manage Equipment: Ensure that students are using proper equipment (boots, skis, poles, etc.) that is appropriately adjusted for their skill level and physical size.
Promote School Services: Inform students about additional programs, events, or private lessons they may be interested in. Encourage students to continue improving their skills through follow-up lessons.
Participate in Instructor Training: Attend periodic training and development sessions to stay up to date with the latest teaching methods, safety protocols, and skiing techniques.
Qualifications:
Graduate or Undergraduate in any major, preferable in physical education
Spoken languages: English is a must, French and Arabic.
Skiing Experience: Strong skiing ability with experience in teaching skiing, ideally with previous experience in ski instruction.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate skiing techniques and instructions in a way that is easy to understand for students of different levels.
Patience and Adaptability: Ability to work with a diverse range of students, adapting your teaching style to meet their individual needs and learning pace.
Passion for Skiing: A love for skiing and a desire to share that passion with others. Energy and enthusiasm for helping students enjoy the sport.
Ski Instructor Certification: Certified through a recognized organization
Prior experience working with children, families, or beginners.
Multilingual abilities (English, French, Spanish, etc.) to communicate with international clients.
Knowledge of local terrain and weather conditions.
